Entering the Busy Season
I'm honored to be featured on Carrie Waller's Fine Art Blog this week! Carrie is a talented young artist who is quickly rising as a superstar in the world of watercolor, be sure to check her out!
Fall is always a busy time of year for me, and this year is no exception. Besides my usual painting, exhibiting, and teaching schedule, right now I'm also busy preparing a new course for Artist's Network University. This course willl be available later in the year, and will focus on painting watercolor seascapes. Keep watching for more details in the coming months!
Also, I'll be out and about for the next couple of weeks, participating in the Plein Air Brandywine Valley event. I'll be painting near the rivers and streams around here, so if you see me, be sure to stop and say 'hi!'
Thursday, I'll be over at the Unionville Fair, but I won't be painting -- I'll be jurying the art exhibit.
And then on October 13th I'll be at the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's Annual Meeting and Banquet, giving the keynote address. In addition to speaking at this event, I'm also bringing some awesome door prizes to give away, including these awesome watercolor paints and brushes from Rembrandt and Van Gogh, and wonderful watercolor paper from Canson and Arches.
All these events are open to the public, and I hope to see you at some of them!
