Plein air painting in Delaware

Last weekend was the Chester County Studio Tour, and we had a great turnout and lots of paintings went home with collectors.

Four other artists joined me at my studio for this year's tour, including Liz Hughes, seen here with some of her paintings. 

To celebrate my birthday this year, I went out painting en plein air with friends at Auburn Valley State Park. 

Annual Chester County Studio Tour!

 The annual Chester County Studio Tour is coming up, September 19 and 20. My studio will be open to the public, and I am sharing my studio with four other artists for this event. My guest artists are Karen Frattali, Tom Dempsey, Liz Hughes, and Bev Bruns.  

Come out to see us! But remember, masks are mandatory. 

Also, this weekend is the annual World Wide Paint Out sponsored by the International Plein Air Painters. I will be painting on Friday at the Auburn Valley State Park in Yorklyn, Delaware. This is on the corner of SR 82 (Creek Road) and Yorklyn Road, next to the Yorklyn Post Office. You're welcome to come and join us for a day of casual painting en plein air!
